trichomoniasis
Trichomoniasis is a sexually transmitted disease, caused by Trichomonas vaginalis that affects the urinary tract in men and the vagina in women. The signs of trichomoniasis are: Heavy yellow-green or gray vaginal discharge, vaginal odor, painful sex, painful urination, pain in the lower belly, irritation and itching around the vaginal area. Trichomoniasis affects about two to three million men and women in the United States each year.
