Trichomoniasis is a sexually transmitted disease, caused by Trichomonas vaginalis that affects the urinary tract in men and the vagina in women. The signs of trichomoniasis are: Heavy yellow-green or gray vaginal discharge, vaginal odor, painful sex, painful urination, pain in the lower belly, irritation and itching around the vaginal area.
