I think that some of our members might be frustrated about this terms. many players play only for fun, althought it doesn't make them weak. Of course we need responsibility for the team, but let me say:
no one can succeed in chess without having fun. I'm trying hard to improve my skills, but I have never studied chess in clubs or other kind of competition. So let we be more realistic - we can't expact too much from our players - and this is not the main philosophy of gameknot. The place of people with superior skills in chess is on the chess board in serious competition. I'm not such an ambitious because I realize that I have missed the time to make myself realy good (with official expirience and ELO) player. Eventhought I haven't stoped loving chess and play it not only for fun but also trying to improve my game. Also we must remember that gameknot is not an official tournament, but place when the devotees of the game meet each others and have fun.
